About

Family PictureI’ve been married to my husband Rudy since 1995. Sixteen years later I have six beautiful children and they are my everything! My family is very important to me and they are the reason I started my business as a real estate virtual assistant. Having the flexibility to be home with my kids and home school them has been worth more than any paycheck.

I worked in administrative support, customer service and reception from 1995 to 2000 gaining experience in those areas as well as obtaining my real estate license in 1998. I worked as a transaction coordinator and rental agent for a busy Keller Williams agent who later opened her own brokerage in Tempe, AZ and asked me to come along. I realized shortly after this, that being a real estate salesperson was not for me. I was spending too much time away from my family so I decided to let my license become inactive and just raise my kids.

I opened the virtual doors of Administrative Support Group in November 2006, just after we moved our family to Albuquerque. I was looking for a way to contribute to my family’s income and still be home with my kids. I met Rosanna Tussey at a homeschool class. She began to tell me about the success she was having in her business and I knew I had found a solution. Rosie was already a successful virtual assistant and agreed to take me under her wing and teach me all she knew about offering administrative support to clients while working from home. Having her as a mentor was the solid foundation I needed to be successful in my ventures and I can’t thank her enough.

I found my first client pretty quickly. He got my business off to a great start, even though he wasn’t in the real estate industry. I was making great money and learning a lot of different things about marketing and being a small business owner; some lessons were good and some were bad but they were all valuable in growing my business. I took all of those lessons to heart, parted ways with my first client after 9 months and moved forward marketing my business to find some new, ideal clients.

My ideal client is a Realtor or real estate team. After leaving my first client I set out in search of that dream. I used my prior real estate and administrative experience to market my business to real estate professionals. I added to my real estate training in 2009 by completing the Kaplan University Associate Broker program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. While I will often assist non real estate clients, I really enjoy the variety of tasks offered by working in the real estate industry.
